A Voice In The Dark Productions was founded in 2017 to produce content that will push the boundaries of what’s possible in Indie Horror film-making. It its output it strives for the sort urban shocks that have proven incredibly successful for Blumhouse Productions (Get Out, Sinister, Insidious) married with intelligent, ambiguous horror the likes of which has gained much acclaim and cult followings for directors like David Lynch (Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive) and Richard Kelly (Donnie Darko, The Box).
What can we tell you…
Sharon Clarke is an experienced film producer and has an invaluable working knowledge of the Northern Ireland film industry. She has authored the very successful 2017 publication “A Voice In The Dark”, a collection of fiction and factual writings, described as a paranormal collage of one woman’s involvement with the paranormal arena and her fight to promote parapsychology. A second volume is due in late 2019.
A Voice In The Dark is currently working on an exciting collaboration with Canadian producer Geoff Hart (The Devil In Me 2012, Unearthly 2013). A feature-length horror movie – “Cooneen” is rooted in the real life supernatural mystery that befell a Northern Irish family in the early 1900’s and will deliver a compelling cocktail of tension, drama and the dark arts.
